Role Overview

We are looking for a Learning Experience Designer who can:

Design how learning happens at SPOT

Integrate across different studios and facilitators

Build a structured, scalable learning system

This is not a teaching role.

This is a design + systems + pedagogy role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build the SPOT Learning Playbook

Design:

Studio frameworks

Learning arcs (weekly / monthly / term-wise)

Skill progression maps

2. Design Interdisciplinary Learning Experiences

Create:

Projects

Challenges

Real-world simulations

Example:

Build a product and sell it

(Math + Business + Maker + Communication)

3. Integrate Across Facilitators

Work with:

Math, Science, Maker, Language, etc.

Ensure learning is:

Connected

Not siloed

4. Build Assessment & M&E Systems

Design:

Rubrics

Skill trackers

Portfolio systems

Focus on:

Thinking

Application

Growth

5. Research & Innovate

Study global models like:

Alternative schools

Project-based learning systems

Adapt them for SPOT

6. Train & Support Facilitators

Help facilitators:

Plan sessions

Improve delivery

Align with SPOT philosophy

Who We're Looking For

Must-have:

Strong understanding of learning design / pedagogy

Experience in:

Alternative education / curriculum design / PBL

Ability to think in systems, not subjects

Good to have:

Experience with:

Gifted / 2E learners

Building learning frameworks

Exposure to:

Reggio / IB / alternative models

This Role Is NOT For You If:

You think curriculum = textbook + lesson plan

You prefer rigid syllabus structures

You are not comfortable with ambiguity
