Job Description

Location: Mumbai/Delhi NCR/Bangalore

Role Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned Learning & Development professional with expertise in Leadership and Behavioral Training within the B2B sector. This individual will play a pivotal role in understanding client-specific L&D challenges and curating bespoke training solutions that align with their leadership development goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement & Requirement Gathering:

Act as the primary point of contact for corporate clients seeking leadership and behavioral training.

Conduct discovery sessions to identify client challenges, training needs, and broader organizational goals.

Translate client inputs into detailed problem statements and learning objectives.

Solution Design & Proposal Development:

Collaborate with internal teams Content, Instructional Design, and SMEs to co-create customized L&D solutions.

Develop high-quality solution decks, proposals, and documents that articulate how upGrad can address the client's needs.

Ensure that solutions are grounded in adult learning principles and current industry best practices in leadership development.

Stakeholder Management:

Work closely with sales, program management, and product teams to align on client expectations and solution delivery.

Serve as a trusted L&D advisor for key stakeholders across client organizations.

Market & Industry Research:

Stay updated on the latest trends in leadership and soft skill training.

Continuously refine offerings based on market intelligence and feedback.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

8+ years of experience in the Learning & Development domain, with a strong focus on

leadership and behavioral training.

Proven experience in solutioning for B2B clients, preferably in the corporate training or edtech space.

Strong understanding of adult learning methodologies, leadership development frameworks, and behavioral competencies.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work cross-functionally.

Creative problem-solver with a client-first mindset.

Nice to Have:

Certification in instructional design, leadership development, or behavioral assessment tools

(e.g., DISC, MBTI).

Prior experience working in a fast-paced startup or edtech environment.
