Job Description

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Analog Design Leader to lead and drive the development of cutting-edge analog and mixed-signal circuits for Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) IPs (OTPs, MTP, Fuse and EEPROMs) and power management IPs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analog design, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of NVM technologies. As a leader, you will guide a team of engineers to deliver innovative designs that meet performance, power, and reliability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership:

  • Oversee the design, development, and verification of analog and mixed-signal circuits for NVM applications, including charge pumps, voltage regulators, sense amplifiers, and memory interfaces.
  • Define and review circuit architectures to optimize performance, power, and area (PPA).
  • Drive innovation in circuit design to address industry challenges in scaling, performance, and reliability for NVM.

2. Team Management:

  • Build, mentor, and manage a team of analog design engineers, fostering technical growth and career development.
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to team members, ensuring timely project execution.
  • Collaborate with world-wide cross-functional teams, including process, test engineering and product teams.

3. Project Management:

  • Plan and manage project schedules, deliverables, and milestones for analog design projects.
  • Ensure designs meet technical specifications, project timelines, and quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate design risks, ensuring robust circuit performance under process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) variations.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with NVM bit-cell architecture and product teams to align circuit design with system-level requirements.
  • Interface with Process teams (Process Integration Engineers) to optimize technology for NVM applications.
  • Present project updates, technical reviews, and status reports to stakeholders and senior management.

5. Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in NVM and analog design.
  • Drive continuous improvement in design methodologies, tools, and workflows.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal circuit design, with a focus on NVM.
  • 3+ years in a leadership or management role, with a proven track record of delivering complex designs.

Technical Skills:

  • Deep understanding of NVM operation, including programming, reading, and reliability considerations.
  • Expertise in designing analog/mixed-signal circuits such as charge pumps, oscillators, ADCs/DACs, precision voltage references, current references and LDOs.
  • Proficient in simulation tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, SPICE) and modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB, Verilog-A).
  • Familiarity with process technology and layout considerations for advanced nodes (28nm) and BCD nodes.

Leadership Skills:

  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to mentor and lead a team of engineers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Experience in silicon bring-up, debug, and characterization.
  • Knowledge of reliability challenges such as endurance, retention, and soft errors in NVM.
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
