This exciting role offers opportunity to:

  • Based in Pune, the Intercompany COE Lead will be responsible to manage the successful operation of the Intercompany function from both an operational and strategic perspective, for driving global standardization by ensuring that Intercompany processes are fully automated, seamlessly integrated, and consistently executed across all regions.
  • The role will focus on enhancing efficiency, improving accuracy, and embedding robust controls and compliance - while ensuring delivery in the most cost‑effective manner through the adoption of best practices, advanced tools, and enabling technologies.
  • Our vision is to transform Intercompany operations into a strategic enabler that delivers cost savings, strengthens collaboration, and empowers business partners to focus on high‑value activities, deepen relationships, and contribute to sustainable value creation.
  • This position requires a senior leader capable of influencing stakeholders and guiding transformational change across a global end‑to‑end process.

Qualifications


Requirement:

  • CA / CMA / MBA / ACCA
  • >15+ years in finance with extensive experience in Intercompany processes

Skills


  • Lean or Six sigma qualification
  • Strong Intercompany system experience (SAP & Oracle ERP Knowledge (AR / AP / Interco / GL)
  • Multi-national experience essential
  • Communication, collaboration and cross functional skills, understanding of stakeholder requirements

Key Tasks And Responsibilities


  • Global Process Ownership & Standardization

Lead the global standardization of Intercompany processes across all regions and business segments.

Define, document, and maintain globally consistent process standards, policies, and procedures.

Ensure alignment with the overall Finance transformation roadmap and enterprise‑wide process architecture.

  • Automation, Systems, and Technology Enablement

Drive end‑to‑end process automation using available enterprise tools and technologies.

Partner with IT, product owners, and system architects to deliver enhancements and global solutions.

Ensure smooth integration of intercompany processes across ERP systems and connected platforms.

  • Efficiency, Accuracy, and Controls Enhancement

Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Strengthen process accuracy and data quality through technology upgrades, improved workflows, and standardized controls.

Embed compliance, governance, and audit‑readiness into all aspects of the process.

  • Global Stakeholder Management

Influence and build strong relationships with regional leaders, local and business finance owners, and cross‑functional teams.

Serve as the primary point of escalation for global intercompany process issues.

Facilitate alignment between finance, operations, tax, treasury, supply chain, and outsource providers.

  • Performance Monitoring & Insights

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness.

Drive root‑cause analysis and remediation of recurring issues or exceptions.

Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership.

  • Strategic Leadership & Transformation

Lead and support global initiatives that elevate Intercompany operations to a strategic value enabler.

Champion a future‑state vision focused on automation, simplification, and collaboration.

Manage the change‑management workstream to ensure global adoption of new processes and tools.

  • Team Leadership & Capability Building

Lead and mentor a team of intercompany Managers and SMEs and process analysts.

Build global capability through training, knowledge sharing, and documented best practices.

Foster a culture of process excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
