Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Implementation: Own physical design from RTL-to-GDSII, including floorplanning, partitioning, placement, clock tree synthesis (CTS), routing, and physical verification (DRC/LVS/Antenna).
- Team Leadership: Guide junior engineers on tasks, prioritize workloads, conduct design reviews, and mentor the team on technical capabilities.
- Timing & Power Closure: Perform Static Timing Analysis (STA), power analysis (IR drop/EM), and low-power implementation (UPF/CPF).
- Flow Optimization: Define and refine design methodologies, flows, and best practices to optimize PPA, particularly for advanced tech nodes (16nm, 7nm, 5nm, 3nm).
- Collaboration & Tape-out: Work closely with RTL design, DFT, packaging, and sign-off teams to ensure successful tape-out. Track milestones and manage risks

Work Experience
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in Physical Design.
- Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Tools: Expert-level proficiency in Synopsys tools (ICC2/Fusion Compiler, PrimeTime) or Cadence tools (Innovus, Tempus, Voltus).
- Scripting: Strong proficiency in Tcl, Python, or Perl for automation.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of VLSI design principles, low-power techniques, and advanced process nodes
