Hiring: Workday Finance Functional Lead (Contract)

Location: Bengaluru

Work Model: Hybrid / Remote

Duration: 3 Months (Extendable)

Experience: 6–9 Years

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days

We are seeking an experienced Workday Finance Functional Lead to drive large-scale, end-to-end Workday Financials implementations. In this client-facing leadership role, you will lead solution design, configuration, testing, and global deployment initiatives while acting as a trusted advisor between business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead 2+ large enterprise end-to-end Workday Financials implementations.
• Drive requirements, configuration, and delivery across P2P (Procure-to-Pay) and General Ledger (GL) cycles.
• Expertise in Supplier Accounts/Contracts, Procurement, Financials, AP, Fixed Assets, Banking & Settlement, Inventory, and application integrations.
• Manage global and multi-country deployments, including localization, tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify risks, mitigation plans, and resolve complex functional issues.
• Contribute to delivery methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support pre-sales activities, project estimation, scope definition, and resource planning.

Preferred Experience

• Background in Financial Accounting and Procurement roles.
• Experience with FDM, Financial Accounting, Budgets, Reporting, Banking, Taxes, Supplier Accounts/Contracts, Procurement, Business Assets, and Inventory.
• Hands-on experience in Workday Data Conversion (EIB, iLoad) and/or Financial Reporting.

Mandatory Certifications

• Workday Certified (Financial Core, Financial Services Practical & Essentials, or Workday P2P)
• Workday Financial iLoad Practical Experience
• Workday Financial Reporting
