About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Video Editor who can take ownership of the entire post-production process for SaaS explainer videos. This role is for someone who is not just an editor, but also understands storyboarding, visual storytelling, motion graphics, pacing, and clear English communication.

You should be able to turn raw ideas, scripts, or product flows into engaging explainer videos that are clean, modern, and easy to understand.

Key Responsibilities

Edit high-quality SaaS explainer videos for marketing, product, onboarding, and demo purposes

Create or contribute to storyboards before the editing process

Develop strong visual narratives that simplify complex product features

Add professional motion graphics, text animations, transitions, callouts, and UI-based visual elements

Work closely with the team to understand the product, script, and desired video direction

Maintain strong pacing, clarity, and storytelling throughout each video

Ensure videos are polished, brand-aligned, and optimized for performance

Handle feedback efficiently and deliver revisions on time

Bring creative input on how to improve the overall quality and effectiveness of each video

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in SaaS, tech, explainer, or product videos

Strong skills in storyboarding and visual planning

Good understanding of motion graphics and animation

Strong command of English, both written and spoken

Ability to understand SaaS products and explain them visually in a simple way

Proficiency in tools like:

Adobe Premiere Pro

Adobe After Effects

Illustrator / Photoshop

Strong sense of design, timing, composition, and storytelling

Ability to work independently and manage projects remotely

Preferred Skills

Experience editing for B2B, SaaS, or startup brands

Understanding of UI animation and screen replacement workflows

Ability to create clean and modern explainer-style visuals

Basic knowledge of sound design and music selection

Experience leading creative direction or mentoring junior editors
