About the Role: Responsible for planning, execution, and closure of vehicle, system, and component validation activities for electric commercial vehicles. The role ensures that products meet performance, durability, safety, and regulatory requirements across development phases, supporting timely SOP and homologation readiness

Responsibilities:

• Validation Planning & DVP&R Ownership: Drive DVP&R creation, execution tracking, and closure for vehicle, system, and component validation in line with program milestones.
• Vehicle & System Validation Execution: Lead execution of performance, durability, vehicle dynamics, thermal management and safety validation for EV buses and trucks.
• Test Coordination & Issue Closure: Coordinate internal and external testing, analyse test results, drive root cause analysis, and ensure timely corrective actions and re-validation.
• Cross-Functional Interface: Work closely with Design, Vehicle Integration, Homologation, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supplier teams to ensure validation readiness and design robustness.
• Change & Risk Management: Assess engineering changes for validation impact, manage re-validation scope, and mitigate risks affecting SOP and certification.

Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
• 12–15 years of experience in Automotive or Commercial Vehicle Validation.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of EV architecture, HV safety, and electric powertrain validation.
• Experience with battery, BMS, Traction motor, BCS, TCS and charging validation.
• Knowledge of durability, reliability, and accelerated life testing for commercial vehicles.
• Hands-on expertise in vehicle instrumentation and DAQ systems.
