Lead User Interface Designer

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Senior UI Designer to lead interface design initiatives for banking and fintech products across mobile and web platforms. The role requires strong ownership of the UI journey, stakeholder collaboration, and proven experience in transforming and revamping legacy systems into scalable, design system–driven interfaces.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own end-to-end UI design delivery from concept to developer handoff

• Lead UI transformation and revamp initiatives for existing financial products

• Conduct UI audits and drive modernization aligned with business and compliance requirements • Design high-quality, pixel-perfect interfaces for mobile and responsive web platforms

• Build, scale, and maintain robust design systems (components, tokens, documentation)

• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, compliance, and business stakeholders

• Present design solutions with clear rationale and influence decision-making

• Ensure adherence to accessibility standards and secure design practices

• Mentor junior designers and uphold visual quality standards

REQUIREMENTS

• 9+ years of UI design experience, with at least 3+ years in Banking Proven experience leading UI revamp and modernization projects

• Strong expertise in component-driven design systems

• Advanced proficiency in Figma (Auto Layout, Components, Variants, Libraries)

• Experience designing data-heavy, transaction-focused enterprise applications

• Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography systems, spacing frameworks, and accessibility (WCAG)

• Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills

• Portfolio demonstrating scalable systems and measurable UI improvements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, Visual Communication, Computer Science, or related field

•Relevant certifications in UI Design or Design Systems are a plus
