Key Responsibilities
HR Compliance & Governance
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with US federal and state labor laws.
- Maintain strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks including EEOC, VETS, AAP, and SOX compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of HR processes to identify and close compliance gaps.
- Ensure adherence to data privacy and security standards across HR systems.
Audit & Reporting
- Develop, maintain, and optimize compliance reports and dashboards for accuracy and usability.
- Monitor compliance metrics, audit findings, and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and ensure data integrity.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with HR teams, business leaders, and external auditors to ensure compliance readiness.
- Consult HR business partners on system reporting, integrations, and HR technology implementations.
- Drive cross-functional coordination to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
Strategic Impact
- Align compliance initiatives with business objectives, focusing on risk reduction, cost efficiency, and organizational reputation.
- Use compliance insights to enhance employee engagement and workplace safety.
- Present compliance outcomes and insights to leadership in a business-relevant manner.
