Job Description

UX Leadership

  • Define and drive the UX vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital HVAC products and interfaces in collaboration with business units.
  • Lead UX/UI design for B2B and B2C websites, ensuring intuitive navigation, responsive design and conversion optimization.
  • Collaborate with product management, R&D, marketing, and development teams to deliver seamless digital experiences aligned with business goals.
  • Communicate design rationale and user insights effectively to senior leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement through user feedback, analytics, and A/B testing.

Design System & Governance

  • Maintain and evolve the design system to ensure consistency across digital platforms.
  • Establish design standards and best practices for scalable web experiences.

Research & Insights

  • Conduct and guide UX research to understand user needs and behaviors across digital touchpoints.
  • Translate insights into actionable design strategies that enhance usability and engagement.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with stakeholders across marketing, engineering, and product to align design strategy with business objectives.
  • Facilitate design reviews and workshops to foster shared understanding and innovation.

Strategic Impact

  • Advocate for user-centered design and communicate design value to leadership.
  • Influence product roadmaps and contribute to long-term experience strategy

IoT/Controls experiences UX (Secondary Focus)

  • Support UI/UX design for smart thermostats and other IoT/Controls experiences, ensuring intuitive interaction and visual consistency.
  • Collaborate with hardware, industrial design, mobile app and embedded software teams to align digital and physical experiences.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or Digital Product Design.

Additional certification in Design Thinking is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • 12+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio of web and digital product work.
  • Experience in B2B and B2C digital marketing environments.
  • Understanding of analytics platforms and conversion optimization techniques.
  • Experience designing connected products, IoT interfaces, or industrial systems will be an added advantage
  • Experience with HVAC, building automation, or similar domains preferred
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and prototyping platforms.
  • Experience in mobile app UI/UX design with responsive design, accessibility standards, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, React, Swift UI, etc.) to ensure design feasibility.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
