Responsible for end-to-end design and engineering of auxiliary systems of steam turbines and generators. This includes technical leadership in system design, equipment selection, engineering deliverables, inter-discipline coordination, and support during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Project co ordination for Engineering and Ensuring timely delivery of Engineering documents
- Equipment sizing, PID preparation and vendor specifications for procurement
- Vendor offer evaluation, GA drawing approval, Ensuring Design Standards, Design calculations
- Ensure timely deliverables of Lube oil piping and steam line piping isometric drawings, BOM, Support drawings etc
- Site support during Erection and commissioning and timely resolution of the site issues
- Providing Resolution for Technical queries raised by the customer, Timely submission of Project deliverables, Project Engineering progress review and feedback.
- Coordinate with disciplines: Process, C&I, Electrical, Civil, Project Management, Procurement
- Collaborate with OEMs for turbine/generator interface requirements
- Provide technical inputs during procurement, installation, and commissioning support
