What you'll do:

  • Manage and oversee daily operations of the finance & accounting department including
  • Cash receipts & payments
  • Revenue recognition & accounting
  • General ledger
  • Payroll & utilities
  • Expense planning and management
  • Budget preparation & variance analysis
  • Assets reconciliation
  • Monitor & analyze financial data and produce financial reports & statements (including P&L, balance sheet and cash flows)
  • Treasury operations, including over weekends
  • Establish and enforce proper expense policies and principles
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits
  • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory dictates while fostering the company's business growth
  • Support CEO and CFO in fund raising activities, as required

Required Experience:

  • Over 5 years experience as accounting manager, accounting supervisor, controller or treasury manager.
  • CMA Qualification required. or MBA Finance.
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
  • In depth knowledge of principles, policies, and practices related to payment operations as well as expertise in digital payment processing.
  • Ability to manage relationships internally (with key stakeholders) and externally (bankers, auditors).
  • Willingness to work in an early-stage company.
  • Financial services / payments industry background preferred.
  • Must be an Owner & Entrepreneur in the highest degree in the deployment of Company resources.
