What you'll do:
- Manage and oversee daily operations of the finance & accounting department including
- Cash receipts & payments
- Revenue recognition & accounting
- General ledger
- Payroll & utilities
- Expense planning and management
- Budget preparation & variance analysis
- Assets reconciliation
- Monitor & analyze financial data and produce financial reports & statements (including P&L, balance sheet and cash flows)
- Treasury operations, including over weekends
- Establish and enforce proper expense policies and principles
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
- Ensure adherence to regulatory dictates while fostering the company's business growth
- Support CEO and CFO in fund raising activities, as required
Required Experience:
- Over 5 years experience as accounting manager, accounting supervisor, controller or treasury manager.
- CMA Qualification required. or MBA Finance.
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
- In depth knowledge of principles, policies, and practices related to payment operations as well as expertise in digital payment processing.
- Ability to manage relationships internally (with key stakeholders) and externally (bankers, auditors).
- Willingness to work in an early-stage company.
- Financial services / payments industry background preferred.
- Must be an Owner & Entrepreneur in the highest degree in the deployment of Company resources.
