Position Title - Lead – Transformation Command Centre
Location - Bangalore
The role is key to establish a central nerve centre for enterprise transformation, driving cost, control, and agility across Network, Infrastructure, Applications, and Assets, while institutionalizing PMO discipline and Change/Release governance.
This role will convert fragmented transformation initiatives into a single, measurable value engine—to track, steer, and accelerate business outcomes in real time.
Role Charter (Value Creation Lens)
1. Enterprise Command Centre (Single Source of Truth)
- Build a unified control tower across:
- Network performance & cost
- Infrastructure footprint & utilization
- Application portfolio health & modernization
- Asset lifecycle & compliance
2. Transformation Engine (Beyond Tracking to Delivery)
- Drive execution of enterprise programs:
- Network optimization (cost, vendor consolidation, SD-WAN efficiency)
- Infrastructure rationalization (cloud vs on-prem, footprint optimization)
- Application transformation PMO (rationalization, modernization, S/4 & BTP alignment)
- Asset optimization (utilization, lifecycle, compliance)
- Shift focus from activity tracking measurable business outcomes
3. Application PMO (Strategic Portfolio Governance)
- Establish a central PMO for application landscape transformation
- Drive:
- Portfolio simplification (retire, consolidate, modernize)
- Roadmap alignment with business priorities
- Technical debt reduction & lifecycle governance
- Provide clear visibility on value vs spend vs complexity
4. Change & Release Management Office (Stability + Speed)
- Stand up a central Change & Release Office (CRO)
- Drive:
- Standardized change governance (normal/emergency/standard)
- Enterprise release calendar & deployment discipline
- Improve:
- Change success rate
- Release predictability
- Business continuity
5. Commercial & Vendor Optimization
- Act as a cost optimization engine across vendors and contracts
- Lead initiatives on:
- Rate benchmarking
- Consumption optimization
- Vendor consolidation
- Deliver transparent savings tracking against Budget.
6. Risk, Controls & Audit Readiness
- Embed SOX/ICFR-ready governance into:
- Asset tracking
- Change & release controls
- Financial data integrity
- Reduce exposure across:
- Capacity risks
- Obsolescence
Experience Required
- 20+ years in Enterprise IT / Digital & Technology leadership
- Proven ability to set up and run command centres / transformation PMOs
- Strong exposure across:
- Program Management & Governance
- Application landscape transformation (PMO-driven)
- Change & Release Management (ITIL environments)
- Network & telecom optimization
- Infrastructure & cloud environments
