Role:Lead Test Enginner

Location: Hyderabad | Work Mode: Office

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly hands-on LeadTest Engineer with strong expertise in manual testing, test automation, and performance testing. This role requires active involvement at the execution level while providing technical leadership and direction to the testing function. The Test Lead will be responsible for ensuring high-quality deliverables, improving test processes, and mentoring the QA team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing activities including test planning, design, execution, and reporting.
• Actively perform hands-on testing across manual, automation, and performance testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts.
• Plan and execute performance and load testing, analyze results, and provide recommendations.
• Define and enforce testing standards, best practices, and quality metrics.
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and business teams to ensure quality at every stage.
• Review test cases, automation scripts, and test results to ensure coverage and accuracy.
• Identify, track, and manage defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Mentor and guide QA engineers, providing technical leadership and support.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing tools, processes, and methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2+ years in a Test Lead role.
• Strong expertise in manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Proven experience in test automation using tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while leading and influencing teams.

Good to Have

• Experience testing web, mobile, and API-based applications.
• Knowledge of security testing and test data management.
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience working in fast-paced, product-based environments.
