The Impact you will have in this role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding ofquality assurance best practices. QA automation, as well as knowledge of blockchain technology would be a plus. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing robust QA flows ensuring the secure, efficient, and innovative application of decentralized technology
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the manual testing efforts and deliverables
- Create, review, and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Identify, document, and track defects using project management tools
- Collaborate with collaborators to understand requirements and translate them into detailed test cases
- Perform both API and UI testing
- Mentor and guide junior QA Engineers
- Develop a detailed understanding of the product being delivered
- Responsible for process compliance & associated documentation
- Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk advances appropriately
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Talents Needed for Success:
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, testing types, and processes
- Experience in creating, reviewing, and driving test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Experience with defect tracking and project management tools(e.g. JIRA)
- Experience with tools for testing REST APIs like Postman
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience mentoring and guiding junior QA Engineers
- Understanding of SQL or other database query languages
- Working proficiency in English
- Experience in the financial industry or with blockchain technology
- ISTQB certifications
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
- Experience in performance and/or security testing
- Stays current on changes in their own specialist area and seeks out learning opportunities to ensure knowledge is up-to-date.
