About The Role
We are hiring a
Lead Technical Engineer – Salesforce Platform to drive enterprise-scale marketing and customer data solutions using
Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.
This role will provide hands-on technical leadership, architecture support, and engineering excellence to enable unified customer profiles, cross-channel journeys, and data-driven personalization across global markets. You will partner with the Principal Technical Architect, product teams, and global stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Leadership (50%)
- Lead solution design, integration, and technical execution for Salesforce Marketing & Data Cloud
- Drive platform modernization, optimization, and best practices
- Develop architecture artifacts (data flows, system diagrams, future state designs)
- Ensure scalability, security, compliance, and performance standards
- Mentor engineers and conduct code reviews
Project & Product Delivery (30%)
- Execute configuration & customization (AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, APIs, Journeys, Automations)
- Implement Data Cloud solutions (data streams, transformations, segmentation, calculated insights)
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Data, Infra, Product, Security)
- Ensure compliance with privacy, consent, and regulatory requirements
- Support pilot initiatives and enterprise integrations
Mentorship & Governance (20%)
- Act as Salesforce Marketing SME
- Drive knowledge sharing & platform standards
- Mentor and coach Salesforce Marketing engineers
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 7+ years in complex IT projects
- 5+ years hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Data Cloud
- Strong experience in APIs (REST/SOAP), AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, data modeling
- Experience integrating Salesforce with cloud & third-party platforms
- Strong understanding of identity resolution, segmentation, and real-time activation
- Proven technical leadership experience
- Experience working in Agile and global teams
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
Good to Have
- Salesforce certifications (Admin/Architect/Developer/Consultant)
- Experience with MuleSoft, ETL/ELT, Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift
- DevOps & CI/CD exposure
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform
- Experience in CPG or digital marketing domain
- Familiarity with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud
