Lead - Technical and Purchase (Flexible Packaging)

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum 5 years of experience in plastic packaging

Expertise in plastic packaging materials, structures and processes

Good understanding of technologies involved in designing and producing packaging

Strong knowledge of costing

Knowledge of supply chain involved in packaging industry

Keen problem solving proficiency

Ability to negotiate with and manage vendors

Desire to work in challenging and agile environment

About the role

Lead the developing and delivering of the ideal packaging for the client/product

Lead the procurement process

Provide cost estimates to sales team to facilitate business

Ensure technical compliance of products with regulatory requirements

Technical evaluation of vendors

Manage internal QC/Testing

Foster integration of technology to help evolve our processes

Identify opportunities to pilot or develop new packaging solutions

Integrate with sales and procurement cycles to balance technical and commercial needs

Lead research and development activity
