Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional with a strong background in Tech Pack creation, Garment quality control, and Production coordination. This role bridges design, sourcing/sampling, and bulk production by ensuring that all technical specifications are accurately documented and executed while maintaining high-quality standards throughout the production lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in apparel manufacturing, a deep understanding of garment construction, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Tech Pack Development & Management

  • Create comprehensive and accurate tech packs including:
  • Garment specifications (measurements, grading, tolerances)
  • Construction details and stitching requirements
  • Fabric, trims, and accessories specifications
  • Colorways and artwork placements
  • Translate design concepts into production-ready documentation
  • Update and maintain tech packs throughout product lifecycle
  • Ensure alignment between design intent and production feasibility

2. Sampling

  • Coordinate with sampling units to develop prototypes and fit samples
  • Review samples against tech packs and provide detailed feedback
  • Auditing Techpacks as per Gold Seal samples for Bulk production
  • Approve pre-production (PP) samples before bulk production

3. Quality Control

  • Monitor quality standards for finished garments
  • Work closely with in house QC team to resolve quality issues and improve processes

4. Production Coordination

  • Collaborating with Vendors/Suppliers/Manufacturers for Prices/Quality Delivery time
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely execution of orders
  • Monitor production timelines and address delays or bottlenecks
  • Ensure bulk production matches approved samples and tech pack specifications
  • Auditing Patterns with Measurement charts before Bulk production
  • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and factories for smooth communication

5. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and industry regulations
  • Maintain records of:
  • Inspection reports
  • Fit approvals
  • Technical changes
  • Support audits and vendor evaluations

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with:
  • Designers
  • Sourcing Merchandisers
  • Production teams
  • Vendors and suppliers

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/Master's degree in Fashion Technology or Apparel Production preferably from NIFT
  • 10-12 years of experience in:

- Tech pack development

- Garment quality control

- Apparel production

- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and trims

- Experience working with domestic apparel brands

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in tech pack tools (Excel, Adobe Illustrator, PLM systems)
  • Strong understanding of AQL standards and inspection processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities
