The Lead Tax Accountant will play a critical role in supporting global tax compliance and transfer pricing processes. This position will work closely with the Transfer Pricing (TP) Manager and cross-functional finance teams to ensure adherence to group policies, regulatory requirements, and alignment with evolving business models.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Transfer Pricing Compliance & Documentation
- Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation, including local files, supporting schedules, and analysis in line with OECD guidelines and internal policies
- Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with local country regulations
- Support in preparation and ongoing maintenance of intercompany agreements to ensure alignment with transfer pricing policies and business operations
- Support periodic updates and reviews of transfer pricing documentation
2. Transfer Pricing Calculation & Analysis
- Perform periodic transfer pricing calculations for routine intercompany transactions
- Conduct margin analysis and validate arm's length pricing
- Analyze financial data to identify inconsistencies or deviations from TP policies
3. Data Management & Reporting
- Collect, validate, and analyze financial and operational data for TP purposes
- Support preparation of reports and dashboards for internal review
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails
4. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Coordinate with local finance teams across regions for data collection and validation
- Work closely with the TP Manager and external consultants where required
- Ensure timely communication and alignment with internal stakeholders
5. Policy Implementation & Process Improvement
- Support the implementation and update of transfer pricing policies and frameworks
- Assist in aligning global operations with regulatory changes and internal guidelines
- Contribute to continuous improvement of TP processes, tools, and documentation practices
5. Economic & Functional Analysis
- Support in conducting functional, asset, and risk (FAR) analysis for intercompany transactions
- Support economic analysis, benchmarking studies, and financial modelling
7. M&A and restructuring projects support
- Support in evaluating TP impact in M&A and restructuring projects
- Support in analysing the new emerging trade flows
Key Competencies & Skills
- Strong knowledge of transfer pricing regulations, OECD guidelines, and tax compliance frameworks
- Solid understanding of finance, accounting, valuation, and economic principles
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's /master's degree in finance, Accounting, Tax, Economics, or a related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) are an added advantage
Experience Required
- Minimum 6+ years of professional experience
- At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in tax, compliance, or transfer pricing
- Experience working in a multinational or global environment is preferred
