Job Description

As part of the Talent Acquisition function, reporting into the Head - Human Resources, you will be responsible for building and executing hiring strategies for mid-management and leadership sales roles across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with business and HR leadership to design and deliver talent acquisition strategies aligned to growth, market expansion, and workforce priorities.
  • Driving workforce planning for mid to senior sales roles (ASM, ZSM, NSM and above), including decisions on in-house versus outsourced hiring models.
  • Building forward-looking talent pipelines for critical sales and business leadership roles.
  • Advising stakeholders on market mapping, external benchmarking, and succession inputs for key positions.
  • Owning end-to-end hiring for leadership and mid-management roles, ensuring speed, quality, and cultural fit.
  • Designing the right sourcing mix across direct hiring, referrals, executive search partners, and selective outsourcing.
  • Using market intelligence to guide hiring decisions on target industries, pedigree versus performance trade-offs, and proactive pipelining.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior sales leaders, influencing role design, hiring priorities, and talent availability discussions.
  • Partnering closely with HRBPs to ensure hiring decisions are aligned with broader people and organisation strategies.
  • Strengthening internal TA processes, governance, and metrics such as quality of hire, time to fill, and market competitiveness.
  • Managing and optimising relationships with boutique search partners for selective and location-specific hiring.
  • Contributing to broader TA initiatives including employer branding, diversity hiring (e.g., women in sales), and capability-building projects.

The Successful Applicant

5-10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition with strong exposure to sales hiring.

Prior experience hiring frontline, mid-management, and senior sales leadership roles.

Background in construction materials, cement, chemicals, manufacturing-led, or B2B distribution businesses.

A demonstrated ability to think strategically about talent, workforce planning, and market dynamics beyond requisition management.

Strong market knowledge, comfort with data, talent mapping, and benchmarking.

Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior business leaders.

An MBA/PGDM from a reputed institute (preferred).
