Lead Systems Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:

• In-depth knowledge of the European Train Control System (ETCS) and its onboard subsystems or other train control systems such as CBTC, PTC.
• Experience in obsolescence management within the railway industry or similar domains with safety-critical systems.
• Systems Thinking: Ability to understand the big picture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate technical risks and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and external suppliers.
• Hands-on experience with Change Management tools such as IBM Rational ClearQuest.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 9+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Great communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience in conjunction with corresponding additional qualifications required for this role.
