Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation solutions for cloud environments
- Develop and maintain AWS IAM policies and roles to ensure secure access control
- Build serverless workflows using AWS Lambda, EventBridge, and related services
- Integrate and automate AWS services using Python and Boto3
- Monitor cloud environments using alerting and monitoring tools to maintain integrity
- Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges related to AWS security and automation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security practices with project goals
- Optimize Python code for performance and maintainability
- Maintain compliance with cloud security best practices and standards
- Debug and troubleshoot issues within cloud automation workflows

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Security Engineer or equivalent role with 7 to 14 years of experience
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including IAM, Identity Center, Organizations, Lambda, and EventBridge
- Proficiency in Python programming including debugging, optimization, and software design
- Extensive experience with AWS Boto3 for API interactions and automation
- Knowledge of popular Python libraries such as requests, boto3, and json
- Expertise in building serverless workflows using AWS services
- Solid knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools for cloud environments
- Strong problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve complex technical challenges
- Ability to design and implement automation solutions for routine cloud tasks
