Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead and strengthen a holistic student welfare ecosystem that promotes well-being, inclusion, engagement, and student success. The role will align global standards with Indian regulatory frameworks to deliver a safe, inclusive, and enriching campus experience.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Governance
- Design and implement a comprehensive Student Welfare Framework
- Ensure policies on well-being, safeguarding, anti-ragging, and inclusivity
- Drive compliance with UGC and global best practices
Student Support Services
- Oversee counselling, health services, disability support, and international student assistance
- Build partnerships with counsellors, healthcare providers, and external agencies
Student Engagement & Campus Life
- Lead clubs, societies, student council, and co-curricular initiatives
- Foster a vibrant, inclusive campus culture
Safeguarding & Crisis Management
- Establish protocols for mental health, safety, and misconduct cases
- Act as escalation point for sensitive student issues
Grievance & Discipline
- Ensure fair, transparent, and timely resolution of grievances and disciplinary matters
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with academic, registry, and UK campus teams
- Act as a bridge between students and leadership
Data & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor student satisfaction, engagement, and well-being metrics
- Drive insights-led improvements and reporting
Team Leadership & Operations
- Build and lead student welfare teams
- Manage SOPs, SLAs, budgets, and vendor partnerships
Key Success Metrics
- Student satisfaction & engagement scores
- Grievance resolution turnaround time
- Participation in student activities
- Utilisation of well-being services
Qualifications & Experience
- Master's in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5–8 years in student affairs / campus life / student services
- Exposure to international education environments preferred
- Strong understanding of UGC regulations and safeguarding frameworks
