We are seeking a Lead Structural Engineer with a strong background in Civil and Structural design and engineering. You will be responsible for independently performing structural calculations, leading projects, and delivering high-quality reports and drawings. This role requires the ability to devise new approaches to engineering problems, work with various engineering disciplines, and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform structural calculations independently and lead projects to deliver high-quality reports and drawings.
- Plan and conduct independent work, using sound judgment in the evaluation, selection, and application of codes, standards, specifications, and criteria.
- Devise new approaches to structural engineering problems and arrive at workable solutions within budgeted hours and resources.
- Coordinate closely with leads, designers, and multi-disciplinary teams across multiple offices.
- Provide drawings for your designs and produce sketches for designers.
- Create multiple design options with structural feasibility and site constraints, and compare their cost and schedule implications.
- Check drawings and review shop drawings.
- Handle, draft, organize, store, and retrieve required inputs and outputs for structural deliverables.
Skills Required:
- Thorough knowledge of Civil and Structural design and Engineering techniques.
- Demonstrated ability in load calculation, structural analysis, sizing, design, and report preparation.
- Strong FEED and detailed design experience in steel and concrete structures and different foundation systems.
- Working knowledge of typical American codes such as IBC, ASCE, AISC, and ACI.
- Sound knowledge of structural calculation software such as STAAD, RISA3D, RISA FOUNDATION, RISA CONNECTION, LPILE, etc.
- Structural calculation experience in greenfield, retrofitting, and modification projects.
- Skilled in reading, operating, and reviewing laser scan data and 3D models in tools like SPR and Navis Works.
- Knowledge of European and British standards is an added advantage.
- Capability to read and interpret geotechnical reports.
- Exposure to offshore structures is an added attribute.
- Drawing preparation skills with AutoCAD is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills for effective communication.
QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Master's degree in Structural Engineering from a reputed institution or university with academic excellence.
