About the role
Responsible
for end-to-end statutory reporting, ensuring accurate preparation and timely
filing of financial statements in compliance with IFRS/local GAAP and
regulatory requirements. The role involves close coordination with auditors and
internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality, audit-ready financials.
You will be responsible for
- Prepare, review, and finalize
statutory financial statements, including notes and disclosures, in line
with IFRS / local GAAP
- Ensure timely completion of
statutory audits and regulatory filings
- Act as the primary point of
contact for external auditors and resolve audit queries efficiently
- Interpret and apply accounting
standards, including new and amended standards
- Perform technical accounting
assessments and document accounting positions
- Coordinate with controllership,
tax, FP&A, and shared services teams for accurate financial data
- Ensure strong governance,
controls, and adherence to internal reporting timelines
- Support first-time adoption,
transitions, or changes in accounting standards
- Identify opportunities for
process improvements and standardization in statutory reporting
- Support management and
stakeholders with statutory and technical accounting insights
You will need
- Strong knowledge of IFRS /
local GAAP and statutory disclosure requirements
- Audit management and
stakeholder coordination
- High attention to detail with
strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple entities
and tight reporting deadlines
- Effective communication and
documentation skills
- Problem-solving mindset with a
quality and compliance focus
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
(CA)
- Relevant experience in
statutory reporting, financial reporting, or audit
- Experience working in an MNC or
complex reporting environment preferred
