Job Title - SQA Lead

What will you be doing
We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA lead to join our dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile/web application. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing automation Script, and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in product quality.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing processes.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, Product Owner, and development team to identify and define project requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Conduct thorough testing of IOS/Android applications and web application to identify defects, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing activities.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on software defects, test execution results, and overall project progress to stakeholders.
- Manage and prioritize bug reports and feature requests, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Drive root cause analysis and risk mitigation for any critical defects, escalating as necessary to senior management.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in software quality assurance and testing methodologies.
- Foster a culture of quality and accountability within the team, providing mentorship, guidance, and training as needed.
Requirements
- Experience of around 7+ years with developing test plans and execute testcases for the application.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
- Ability to work well with others, learn on the job, and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
- A focus on user-oriented testing and end-user satisfaction is a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with performance testing using any tool.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
