Lead Software Engineers (C++)

Description

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer with extensive experience in C++ to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in software development and a strong background in building high-performance applications. In this role, you will lead a team of engineers, drive the development process, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ applications and systems.
• Lead a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality software on time and within budget.
• Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and ensure best practices in coding and design are followed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, QA, and UX/UI to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues, optimizing performance and scalability.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the strategic direction of the software development process.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5-8 years of professional experience in software development using C++.
• Strong knowledge of C++11/14/17 features and best practices.
• Experience with multi-threading, concurrency, and real-time systems.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
• Proficient in using version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., CMake).
• Experience in performance profiling and optimization of C++ applications.
• Knowledge of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
