Python Robot Framework Tester

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Python Robot Framework Tester to join our consultancy team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python programming and extensive experience in test automation using the Robot Framework. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can analyze requirements, design test cases, and ensure the quality of software products through effective testing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Robot Framework.
• Analyze project requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Execute test cases, document results, and report defects in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and provide feedback on quality issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers in the team.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies.
  
  

Mandatory Skills

• Proficient in Python programming.
• Extensive experience with Robot Framework for test automation.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scripts.
• Ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Experience with other testing frameworks and tools.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in software testing are a plus.
