Lead Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis: Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements for cash management modules, including payment processing, collections, and liquidity pooling.

Process Mapping: Create and maintain process flow diagrams for end-to-end treasury and cash management cycles, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities.

System Implementation & Testing: Support the configuration and implementation of Treasury Management Systems (TMS) or core banking platforms. Participate actively in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

Data Analysis: Analyze payment transaction data (SWIFT, ACH, SEPA, real-time payments) to identify trends, inconsistencies, or potential efficiency gains for client operations.

Client Support: Serve as a point of contact for resolving day-to-day functional issues, ensuring smooth delivery of cash management services during project transitions.

Documentation: Prepare functional specification documents (FSDs), user manuals, and training materials for internal and client stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 2–5 years of experience in Banking and Financial Services, specifically within Cash Management, Payments, or Treasury operations.

Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of payment messaging formats (e.g., ISO 20022, SWIFT), liquidity management, and reconciliation processes.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with modern Treasury Management Systems (TMS) or banking ERP modules. Experience with SQL and advanced Excel for data manipulation is highly desirable.

Communication: Strong ability to document complex workflows and translate business needs into clear functional requirements.

Collaborative Mindset: Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and support senior consultants/leads in project delivery.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Information Technology.
