Job Description
- Senior Release Train Engineer (Offshore)Experience: 10+ Years | Focus: Execution Excellence, Metrics, & Agile HygieneRole SummaryThe Offshore RTE is the guardian of the Engine Room. You will focus on the tactical health of the teams, ensuring that the offshore contingent (which often carries the bulk of development) operates with clinical precision. You will be responsible for enforcing the KPIs and metrics that drive true agile hygiene.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Excellence: Facilitate the Scrum of Scrums (SoS) and ART Syncs to resolve day-to-day dependencies and blockers.Metric Enforcement: Build and maintain automated dashboards (Jira/ADO) to track Cycle Time, Throughput, and Technical Debt.Agile Hygiene: Conduct Health Checks for teams, ensuring 100% adherence to the Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD).Dependency Management: Work in lockstep with the Onshore RTE to manage hand-offs, ensuring offshore teams are never waiting on onshore decisions.Technical Mentorship: Coach teams on engineering excellence (TDD, BDD, CI/CD) to ensure the release process is stable and predictable.Qualifications10+ years in IT, with 3+ years in an RTE or Lead Scrum Master role.Expert Tooling: Advanced mastery of Jira/Azure DevOps for generating Hygiene Scorecards.Shift Flexibility: Ability to overlap with Onshore hours for critical ceremonies (PI Planning/SoS).
