We are hiring a Staff Engineer Python to join our Founding Team at a fast-growing product startup based out of Bangalore. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in ownership-driven environments and wants to build scalable products from the ground up.
Location - Bangalore, HSR Layout - Onsite
Experience - 8 to 14 Years
Background - Prior Founding Engineer / Startup Founder experience OR Alumni from IIT / BITS
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end backend development using Python and FastAPI
- Architect and build scalable, production-grade systems from scratch
- Take complete ownership of key product modules and technical decisions
- Work closely with founders to define technical roadmap and execution strategy
- Drive performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services
- Mentor early engineering team members as we scale
Requirements:
- 8 to 13 years of total experience with strong hands-on expertise in Python Development
- Extensive experience working with FastAPI in production environments
- Experience in building and scaling backend systems for product-based startups
- Strong understanding of system design, microservices architecture & APIs
- Experience working in fast-paced, ownership-driven startup environments
