About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer.
In this role, you will:

Software engineering experience with deep expertise in Golang and/or Python or Dot Net
Proven track record designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native platforms.
Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift, container orchestration, platform engineering, and production operations.
Extensive experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud architecture patterns.
Strong expertise in system design, scalability, reliability, performance optimization, and security architecture.
Advanced experience with CI/CD, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.), and developer productivity tooling.
Deep understanding of software engineering excellence, including testing strategies, automated quality gates, architecture reviews, and SDLC best practices.
Experience defining technical strategy, architecture roadmaps, and engineering standards.
Ability to lead technical initiatives, influence stakeholders, and drive delivery across multiple teams.
Strong mentoring and leadership skills with experience growing engineering talent and fostering engineering culture.
Experience with platform observability, SRE practices, incident management, and operational excellence.
