About The Team

  • We are part of Technology Operations vertical of the Corporate Technology business unit. We closely work with Accounting and Recon, Financial Planning and Analysis, Regulatory Reporting, Procurement, Treasury, Risk and HRIT functions of Business.

Impact

  • You will be responsible for providing timely and unmatched support to application and associated processes ensuring availability and reliability of applications.
  • Train less experienced associates and assist management in monitoring team performance.
  • Collaborate with peers, managers, and cross-platform teams to align projects and tasks with wider organizational goals.
  • You will be supporting large and complex infrastructure of different types of technologies

Key Deliverables (Duties and Responsibilities)

  • Technical Expertise
    • Maintains a strong knowledge base of primary application, interface applications, and system integrations through ongoing research and education. Manages special or advanced technical projects.
    • Evaluate and implement solutions for vulnerability remediation, including the deployment of security patches and fixes.
    • Maintain accurate records of end-of-life assets, vulnerability assessments, software upgrades, and patching activities.
    • Utilize proper documentation procedures to ensure all efforts are tracked.
    • Utilize Agile Methodologies to its fullest extent for planning and management activities.
    • Provides guidance, mentorship, and leadership to less experienced associates in the work group.
    • Have good understanding and implementation experience of SDLC methodologies.

  • Technical Support
    • Leads efforts to implement, integrate, upgrade, and support complex technical systems that execute business applications. Responsible for assigned technical areas including LDAP, LINUX, WebSphere, data backups, and purging. Resolves complex problems and failures that occur in assigned applications and systems. Leads disaster recovery plans for assigned applications.
    • Leverage ITIL processes for Incident, problem and change management.
    • Drive issue resolution efforts in partnership with App Dev team and command center to ensure SLAs are achieved.
    • Address critical Issues (P1/P2) on highest priority.
    • Develop and implement strategies to identify and manage technology assets approaching their end of life, including hardware and software.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the vulnerability status of technology assets and prioritize remediation efforts.
    • Plan, schedule, and oversee software upgrades, patching, and system updates to ensure the security and performance of technology infrastructure.
    • Ensure regression testing is in place for effective change management
    • Stay informed about emerging threats, software updates, and security trends to proactively address vulnerabilities.
    • Train and educate team members and employees on the importance of timely software upgrades and patching.
    • Create and oversee protocols and procedures for the use of any new software application.
    • Partner with global team and vendor partners for production support and reliability engineering goals.
    • Strong troubleshooting mindset with log analysis, trace errors and identify root cause.

  • Reporting and Communication:
    • Build and/or practice effective communication and meaningful reporting to stakeholders.
    • Establish communication channels with varied stakeholders
    • Produce and share regular reports for senior leadership and other stakeholders
    • Partner with global team to align with communication strategies.
    • Ensure critical issues and problems are communicated allowing transparency and alignment with key stakeholders and senior leaders.
Skills And Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in technical work in Application Development, Server Administration, Information Security or Engineering
  • Windows applications and database servers

  • Application Hosting Platforms: IIS, WebLogic, cloud hosting technologies
  • End Of Life Management and remediation
  • Scripting Languages (PowerShell, windows, bash and others)
  • Infrastructure management and Networking
  • Active directory
  • On-Prem and hybrid applications
  • Asset Patch management
  • Technical analysis
  • SRE concepts
  • User and configuration experience on monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace, SolarWinds, Splunk
  • Expertise in ITIL tools ServiceNow
  • Agile methodology and Jira
  • End to end lifecycle of digital certificates
  • SDLC

  • You will work closely with members of the larger technology team, your reporting manager and other team members.
