Job Summary:

SecPod is looking for a Lead software engineer with 5-8 years of hands-on experience with Python, who is passionate about cyber security and can own products design, architecture and implement new features, adopting tools and practices for ensuring reliability. This is an opportunity to work across our tech stack including Python, Go, C++ and MongoDB alongside building and maintaining source code and the REST APIs to make our product offerings reliable, scalable and secure.

There is also the opportunity to grow beyond your technical expertise, with a clear path towards product leadership roles responsible for shaping and driving the future development roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Container and Orchestration security products while thinking holistically about software maintainability and customers requirements.
• Owning architectural and design changes, lead cross-team efforts, conducting code reviews, effective debugging and contribute towards training co-workers.
• Collaborating for designing product features and ensuring best user experience.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to change and actively foster positivity at work, inspiring co-workers to elevate their own contributions to match high standards.

Requirements:

Must-Have:

• 5-8+ years of relevant experience in building software products
• Prior experience with at least one container orchestration tool like Kubernetes or Openshift
• Solid programming fundamentals in Python, Go, C++ and Strong understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms
• Understanding of NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB, ClickHouse
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs design and integration.
• Strong understanding of product development and engineering of scalable systems with the ability to lead a team of 3 or more
• A degree in B-Tech / M-Tech / MCA in Computer Science, Information Science or similar domain

Good to Have:

• Infrastructure-as-code (IaC), hands on experience at least one Cloud Provider
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git / SVN)
• Knowledge of Clean Code practices and tools that aid in enforcing them
• Interest in cybersecurity and cloud-native applications
