About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineer to join our Customer Experience Quality Validation team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of Product Suite. You will be responsible for designing, developing, automating, and executing test plans to validate functionality, usability, performance, and accessibility. This ultimately contributes to a seamless and positive customer experience. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality releases with a customer zero defect focus.

Responsibilities

Test Planning and Design

  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product features for end-to-end integration testing at the suite level.
  • Define test data requirements and create test data sets.
  • Identify and prioritize test scenarios based on risk and impact.
  • Contribute to the development of test strategies, methodologies, and automation.

Test Execution and Analysis

  • Execute manual and automated test cases to verify functionality, usability, and accessibility with an end-user prospective.
  • Test product with end-user workflows and data to ensure customer zero defect quality level.
  • Document and track defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on findings.
  • Perform exploratory testing to identify unexpected issues.

Automation

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured using Java to identify the defects, regression issues.
  • Improve test automation coverage and efficiency at the suite level covering integration and end-to-end scenarios.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
  • Communicate test results and defect information effectively to stakeholders.
  • Work with customer support teams to understand and reproduce customer-reported issues.

Customer Focus

  • Advocate for the customer and ensure that all testing efforts are aligned with delivering a positive customer experience.
  • Analyze customer feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Understand customer workflows and fine tune test scenarios and data for an effective testing suite.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering.
  • Four plus years of proven experience as a Test Engineer, preferably in a customer experience-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with test planning, test case design, and test execution.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured) using Java.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with testing mobile applications and web based applications.
  • Experience with API testing, UI testing in SAAS enterprise product.
  • Experience in troubleshooting the issues based on logs, database queries, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-based testing platforms.
  • Knowledge of customer experience metrics and analytics
