Lead Software Engineer

What you'll build

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong expertise across frontend, backend, cloud, and modern AI-assisted software development.

This is a high-impact engineering role where you'll own end-to-end product capabilities—from architecture and technical design through implementation, deployment, and production support.

You'll work closely with Product Managers, Architects, Designers, Engineering Managers, and customers to build scalable, secure, AI-enabled software products used by leading global enterprises.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your scope

Engineering Excellence

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
• Build high-quality frontend experiences using React and TypeScript.
• Develop secure and scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Design APIs, data models, and integrations.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable production code.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.

Product Engineering

• Translate business requirements into elegant technical solutions.
• Participate in technical discovery, estimation, architecture discussions, and implementation planning.
• Build customer-facing features with strong usability and performance.
• Drive engineering decisions with a product-first mindset.

AI-First Software Development

• Leverage AI engineering tools to improve productivity and engineering quality, including:
• GitHub Copilot
• Cursor
• ChatGPT
• Claude
• Internal AI engineering accelerators

Engineers are expected to use AI responsibly—not as a replacement for engineering judgment, but as a force multiplier for productivity, design thinking, debugging, testing, documentation, and code quality.

Engineering Practices

• Participate in code reviews and architectural reviews.
• Build reusable components and engineering frameworks.
• Contribute to engineering documentation and technical RFCs.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and developer productivity.
• Follow secure coding and cloud-native engineering practices.

Collaboration

• Partner with Product Managers, Architects, Designers, QA Engineers, and DevOps.
• Communicate technical trade-offs effectively.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
• Drive engineering excellence across the team.

What you'll bring

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in:
• React
• TypeScript
• Node.js
• Experience designing REST APIs and microservices.
• Strong understanding of SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Understanding of secure software development practices.
• Experience working in Agile product teams.
