This role is a senior technical leadership position focused on designing, building, and delivering scalable software solutions that support critical healthcare and clinical research applications. You will lead end-to-end development initiatives while actively contributing to hands-on engineering work, particularly in modern frontend architecture using Angular. The position combines technical leadership, system design, and mentorship, ensuring high-quality delivery across complex software systems. You will collaborate closely with product, UX, backend, QA, and operations teams to build reliable, user-centric applications. Accountabilities
- Lead end-to-end software development activities from design through deployment, ensuring scalable and high-quality solutions.
- Design, develop, and unit-test applications with a strong focus on Angular-based frontend development aligned with product requirements.
- Architect and maintain complex, maintainable, and high-performance applications using modern frontend design patterns.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams to deliver cohesive and user-focused software solutions.
- Create and maintain technical design documentation aligned with SDLC standards and engineering best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce high standards of code quality, performance, and consistency across teams.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in frontend development, Angular best practices, and full-stack engineering principles.
- Coordinate with QA, operations, and product teams to ensure smooth releases and high-quality software delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, architecture, and engineering standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong exposure to SDLC processes.
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular and frontend application development.
- Experience in backend development using C# is preferred.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented architecture principles.
- Experience building scalable, maintainable enterprise-grade software systems.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and drive technical initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Exposure to regulated or healthcare/pharmaceutical environments is a plus.
