Description

Lead the design and development of high-performance, scalable Java-based applications for supply chain management systems.
Architect and implement solutions across key supply chain domains such as inventory management, order fulfillment, logistics, and demand planning.
Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers, including code reviews, design guidance, and best practice enforcement.
Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Ensure system reliability, performance, and security through proper design, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Drive adoption of modern engineering practices such as microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native development.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement long-term fixes.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of software development experience with strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.).
Proven experience in designing distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Solid understanding of supply chain processes and systems (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP integrations).
Experience with RESTful APIs, messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
