Quess Corp is looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer – Java + AWS Cloud to join a leading global banking and financial services client. We are seeking a strong backend developer with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS Serverless technologies who can contribute as an Individual Contributor in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications in an Agile environment.
• Build high-quality, scalable code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Design and develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS Serverless architecture.
• Ensure code reusability, performance, and application reliability.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide production support when required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in CI/CD implementation and DevOps best practices.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Java Backend Development.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS Serverless Architecture.
• Experience with PL/SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of Jenkins Pipelines and CI/CD processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with React JS.
