Lead Software Engineer

Job Title: Technical Lead – Full Stack

Experience: 6 - 10 Years

Location: Mumbai (Work from Office)

Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Full Stack Lead who can own the technical design and delivery of a product module end to end — from architecture decisions down to code quality — while guiding a small team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own technical design and architecture for the module/product assigned
2. Write and review code across frontend and backend, staying hands-on rather than purely managerial
3. Lead a small team of engineers, guide them technically, and unblock them during development
4. Break down requirements into technical tasks and estimate effort accurately
5. Ensure code quality through reviews, standards, and good engineering practices
6. Coordinate with Product, QA, and DevOps to ensure smooth releases
7. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues when they arise

Required Skills

1. Strong hands-on experience in both frontend (React/Angular or similar) and backend (Java)
2. Solid understanding of databases — both relational (Oracle/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL
3. Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud deployment (AWS/Azure/GCP)
4. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
5. Prior experience leading or mentoring a small engineering team
6. Good communication skills to work directly with cross-functional teams
