Lead Software Engineer

Role Purpose:

To contribute to the design, development, and implementation of innovative software solutions for Composable Disaggregated Infrastructure (CDI) within a high-performing engineering team. This role will focus on developing managing, monitoring and alerting systems for CDI hardware with GUI functionalities.

The successful candidate will collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code that meets performance and security requirements.
• Collaborate with other engineers to design and implement new features and functionalities.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects in a timely and efficient manner.
• Contribute to the improvement of development processes and tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives).
• Work closely with Japanese software and hardware teams to ensure smooth collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Adhere to established coding standards and best practices.
• Proactively identify and report potential risks or issues.
• Contributes to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software.
• Proficiency in Python, Typescript. Excellent coder.
• Experience with server management protocols (IPMI, Redfish, SNMP), virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, OpenStack), RESTful API, Ansible and Networking protocols such as TCP/IP and HTTP/HTTPS.
• Full-stack development experience GUI/Front end (Typescript, Angular framework) to backend.
• Strong understanding of OOAD, OOPS, design patterns & ability to convert it to code. Analyses possible solutions and solves problems using experience.
• Usually resolves the issues that the scrum team cannot resolve.
• Provides guidance for junior colleagues. Demonstrated module ownership of the respective solution.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.). Knowledge of hardware devices such as GPUs and PCIe or CXL technologies.
• Experience with Kubernetes (K8s) container orchestrator.
• Experience with securing software applications (e.g., knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities).
• Experience of Open-Source Software (OSS) development.
