Job Title Lead Software Engg DB Developer
DB developer with exposure to Financial Services domain.
The Purpose of This Role
To be a part of high performing agile scrum team to deliver efficient and innovative technology solutions for Fidelity Capital Markets business. The role involves working closely with business and technology partners and delivering solutions having direct revenue impact and helping operations team achieve efficiency and operational excellence.

- Working closely with our business partners to contribute to business critical initiatives and operational excellence
- Designing and implementing technology solutions for the Capital Markets business
- Working closely with the business function owners in focused scrum team. This would involve working independently to deliver solutions in an agile manner and providing support for the solutions delivered.
The Skills That Are Key To This Role
Technical / Behavioral
You should have
- Strong analytical and programming skills
- 5+ years of hands-on Oracle SQL, PL/SQL Programming experience
- Hands-on experience on Oracle performance tuning
- Hands-on experience on Unix/Linux
- Very good understanding of RDBMS concepts
- Exposure to performance tuning of procedures/queries and indexes
- Should be able to write queries consisting of joins, unions and development of stored procedure, packages, and functions.
- Should be good in Design and Analysis as the role requires to work on multiple big initiatives.
- Knowledge of any cloud database like Snowflake or working knowledge on any other database would be added advantage.
- Hands-on experience in building Java web services & REST Services on Spring Framework would be a plus
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- Should be able to contribute to Oracle development standards across BU
The Skills that are good to Have for this role
- Knowledge of Capital Markets and Prime/Security finance domains
- Knowledge of cloud and micro-service architecture would be plus

The FIT platform, we support is used by 300+ Correspondent banks, 5000+ Investment Advisors, 12 million+ retail customers and 130+ hedge funds and is capable of handling over 1 million trades per day amounting to 300 million shares. The FBT India team is distributed across Chennai and Bangalore.

- Engineering Graduate/CS graduate/MCA equivalent
