The Impact You Will Have in This Role

This role is part of the Development family, responsible for designing, creating, deploying, and supporting applications and software solutions. Work may include research, new development, prototyping, reuse, re-engineering, and maintenance of software products used both internally and externally.

You will be deeply involved in the full software development lifecycle, working closely with business partners, product managers, architects, and end-users. The role focuses on planning, documenting technical requirements, and delivering robust software systems that solve complex business challenges using both current and emerging technologies.

Primary Responsibilities

• Act as a technical expert for one or more DTCC applications
• Collaborate with Business System Analysts to ensure functional requirements are met
• Partner with Infrastructure teams to identify and deploy optimal hosting solutions
• Tune application performance and proactively address performance issues
• Research and recommend technical solutions that align with DTCC standards
• Integrate risk and control practices into daily tasks; escalate issues when needed
• Apply the appropriate software development methodology based on project requirements
• Contribute to component or program design and participate in development and testing
• Support development teams in testing, troubleshooting, and production issues
• Build applications and unit test cases to meet both functional and non-functional requirements
• Collaborate with peers to enhance continuous integration and delivery practices

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of related software development experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
