Job Purpose:
You will join and immediately contribute to the team that supports one of Quorum's market-leading enterprise applications. You will be on the Supply Chain Team supporting multiple applications.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Supply Chain products in an Agile environment.
- Provide technical leadership and actively contribute to core development activities.
- Maintain regular alignment with the Product Owner on priorities and delivery pipeline.
- Refine and clarify acceptance criteria to ensure technical feasibility and readiness.
- Drive the technical refinement and maturation of the product backlog.
- Strengthen the team's understanding of backlog items and their technical requirements.
- Coach team members on best engineering practices and coding standards.
- Ensure all deliverables meet architecture, quality, and security guidelines.
- Support team members in analyzing and resolving customer-reported issues.
- Manage and mitigate technical dependencies across teams to reduce delivery risk.
- Mentor team members to enhance their technical depth and competencies.
- Lead innovation and continuous improvement, including adoption of emerging technologies such as AI tooling.
- And other duties as assigned.
What to Bring:
- Hands-on today. Currently writes and ships production code. Candidates who moved fully into management or architecture-only roles are out of scope.
- Full-stack development experience.
- Polyglot in practice. Professional, production experience in C#/.NET and React. Additionally, preferred Python, TypeScript, and willingness to work across all. A single-language specialist does not fit.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, or clear evidence of equivalent depth (has owned the design and operation of production systems, not only features).
- Real use of AI coding tools. Uses tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor or similar as part of daily work, and can describe how. Have tried ChatGPT alone is not enough.
- Has a considered, specific view on AI-assisted development: where it helps, where it fails, how they review and test AI-generated code.
- Testing is part of how they work. Can describe their testing approach without prompting. Candidates who treat testing as QA's job are out of scope.
- Mentoring evidence. Has guided or mentored other engineers, formally or informally.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs familiarity with OpenAPI specifications.
- Has introduced or improved CI/CD, test automation or developer tooling and can describe the before/after.
- Understanding of containerization with Docker and basic Kubernetes concepts (pods, services, deployments).
- Understands the security aspect of software development and has been part of security reviews and remediations.
- Owned production support for something they built.
- Communicates clearly and concisely in the screen itself answers the question asked gives concrete examples with their own role made explicit.
- Understanding of Domain Driven Design and design patterns.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem'solving skills.
