About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Tech Lead to work as Lead Software Engineer with min 12+ years of exp proficient in Angular, RxJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, Jest unit testing, Python, REST APIs, Node.js, Git, CI/CD deployment, and JSON manipulation.

Our projects focus on developing and maintaining web applications built using Angular for the frontend, Python for the backend, and Snowflake for database management. The infrastructure is hosted on AWS, leveraging services like CloudFront, WAF, and other cloud-native tools.

The ideal candidate should have a strong focus on leading and maintaining / managing a team and who can also do high quality code, developing reusable components, and possessing the ability to help the team debug and troubleshoot effectively. Additionally, the candidate should be comfortable with improving the performance wherever there is performance improvement is needed and shd also possess effort estimation skills and working within a collaborative team environment.

Front-End Applications

• Experience in frontend applications using Angular framework.
• Write comprehensive unit test cases using Jest to ensure code reliability.
• Utilize RxJS for reactive programming and handling asynchronous data streams.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs to fetch and manipulate data.
• Utilize TypeScript to build robust and scalable applications.
• Implement frontend logic using TypeScript/JavaScript for dynamic user experiences.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines for code deployment processes.
• Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless integration.
• Utilize Node.js for server-side rendering and backend integration tasks.
• Utilize Git for version control and code collaboration with multiple branches.
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to coding standards.
• Develop reusable components to promote code reusability and maintainability.
• Debug and troubleshoot frontend issues efficiently.
• Provide accurate effort estimations for assigned tasks and projects.
• Manipulate JSON data effectively within frontend applications.

Python:

• Strong Experience in python core programming
• Experience with Python Libraries Flask, Panda, multiprocessing, multithreading
• Experience in developing REST API
• Strong Experience with SQL
• Experience with Snowflake DB - DDL, DML Operations, CTE, stored procedure, storage integration
• Experience with any No SQL DB
• Experience with AWS cloud services - Lambda, S3
• Experience with unit test frameworks - pytest
• Good knowledge on version control tools - GIT

DevOps Exp

As part of DevOps, the candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless deployment, robust security, and efficient operations of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment of applications using Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve release cycles.
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems using AWS CloudWatch or similar tools.
• Analyze logs and metrics to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Ensure compliance with best practices and security standards for web applications.
• Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to streamline workflows and resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot deployment and runtime issues across the stack.
• Identify and automate repetitive tasks to increase operational efficiency.
• Research and integrate new tools or practices to improve system reliability and performance.

Key Technical Skill Set Required:

Skills:

Git/VCS, GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, Linux, AWS IaC, IAM, CloudFormation, npm, pip, YAML, Docker, Kubernetes, Python, Serverless, CloudWatch logging and alerts, etc.

Cloud and Infrastructure:

• Strong expertise in AWS services, including ECS, ECR, S3, CloudFront, WAF, VPC, IAM, Lambda, ALB and CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in managing secure, scalable, and cost-optimized infrastructure in a cloud environment.

CI/CD and Automation:

• Experience with CI/CD tools like Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or other programming languages for automation.
• Knowledge of Git workflows and version control systems.

Containerization and Orchestration:

• Proficiency with Docker for containerization.
• Experience in container orchestration using AWS ECS, EKS, ECR.

Monitoring and Logging:

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, or Prometheus/Loki.
• Ability to configure alerts and troubleshoot performance issues using monitoring solutions.

Web Application Support:

• Experience in deploying and managing TypeScript based frontend applications on AWS.
• Expertise in backend deployment for Python (Flask/Django) applications.

Security:

• In-depth knowledge of web application security best practices, including OWASP standards.
• Experience in configuring CodeQL, Dependabot, etc.

SoftSkill / Additional Responsibilities

• Should possess managerial skills with people management is an added plus.
• Should have basic level of understanding on budgeting, forecasting
• Worked with Vendor partners through T&M and SOW,
• Stake holder management in handling and completing the projects / programs
• Mentoring and guiding the team technically and unblocking the team for any blockers related to progress
• Should have directly worked with client stakeholders in managing and planning the deliverables
