About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled
Java Bilingual Developer with strong expertise in enterprise application development and professional Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N3 or above). This role involves leading technical initiatives, interacting directly with Japanese clients, and delivering highquality solutions in a fast-paced global environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise-grade applications using Java and modern frameworks.
- Drive and influence architectural decisions, ensuring best practices, performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate closely with Japanese-speaking clients and internal teams for requirements, technical discussions, and solution delivery.
- Translate technical documentation and provide bilingual communication support (English Japanese).
- Mentor and guide junior developers; perform code reviews and ensure coding standards.
- Support continuous improvement of development processes, DevOps pipelines, and cloud adoption.
Skills/Qualification
Technical Expertise
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Microservices Architecture.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on exposure to AWS or Azure cloud environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven/Gradle, and modern development practices.
Language Skills
- Japanese proficiency (JLPT N3 or above) with the ability to communicate effectively with Japanese clients.
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Proven ability to lead development teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver complex technical projects.
- Excellent communication, problemsolving, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Japanese clients or in global delivery models.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with the Azure ecosystem and cloud services.
