Role Overview
Client is hiring a hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead all technology initiatives for its US business. This role is designed for a leader who blends deep technical expertise with strong people and product leadership.
The CTO will own the complete technology function from architecture and AI development to engineering execution and client-facing delivery while actively contributing to the codebase and shaping long-term technology vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Technology Strategy & Architecture
- Own the end-to-end architecture, development, and deployment of our AI-powered voice and text platforms
- Partner closely with the Founder to define and execute the technology roadmap aligned with business and client goals
- Lead AI/ML development initiatives including LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, backend systems, and automation workflows
- Ensure platform scalability, reliability, security, and performance across all US client deployments
- Hands-On Engineering Leadership
- Actively contribute to core development (Python / FastAPI / Node.js preferred)
- Set technical standards through architecture design, code reviews, and hands-on problem solving
- Evaluate and implement LLM frameworks such as OpenAI, Gemini, Mistral, Whisper, and LangChain for healthcare use cases
- Product & Delivery Ownership
- Convert customer and business requirements into clear technical designs and execution plans
- Oversee product releases, version control, QA processes, and DevOps pipelines
- Collaborate with operations and customer success teams to resolve technical issues andimprove platform performance
- Drive continuous AI-led innovation across automation, personalization, and predictiveintelligence
- Lead, mentor, and manage an 810 member engineering team
- Run sprint planning, reviews, and enforce engineering best practices
- Hire and onboard engineers to support business growth and platform expansion
- Build a culture focused on ownership, execution speed, and innovation
- Participate in technical discussions with US-based hospitals and enterprise healthcare clients
- Support sales and pre-sales efforts including technical demos and proof-of-concept discussions
- Own end-to-end technology operations for the US business, including infrastructure, integrations, uptime, and client satisfaction
Must-Have Technical Requirements
- 57 years of experience in software engineering with at least 2+ years in a technical leadership role
- Strong expertise in Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML systems, LLMs, and RAG architectures
- Practical exposure to OpenAI, Gemini, Mistral, Whisper, and LangChain
- Strong backend architecture, API integration, and system design skills
- Experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP
- Proficiency with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable SaaS architectures
- Proven experience building production-grade SaaS or Conversational AI platforms
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with engineers, founders, and enterprise clients

- Experience with telephony and voice technologies such as Twilio, Exotel, or Asterisk
