About the Role
Freecharge is looking for a highly skilledLead SDETto drive quality engineering initiatives across our platforms. You will own the automation strategy, mentor QA engineers, and work closely with product, engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust automation frameworks forUI, API, and system testing.
- Define and implementautomation strategy, test architecture, and best practices across teams.
- Driveintegration, regression, and end-to-end automated test suitesfor daily and release cycles.
- Mentor and guide SDET/QA engineers, conduct code reviews, and ensure high engineering standards.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and DevOps to embed quality early in theSDLC and Agile processes.
- Ensure seamlessCI/CD integrationof automated tests using Jenkins and related tools.
- Analyze test results, identify quality risks, and proactively improve test coverage and reliability.
- Own defect management, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvements.
