About the Role:

We're looking for a Lead SDET to drive quality across multiple CRM core modules, lead and grow SDETs, and act as a trusted quality authority across product and engineering. This role is for someone who defines quality strategy, drives automation at scale, mentors teams, and takes a firm stand when quality is at risk even under intense delivery pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end quality across multiple CRM core modules and teams, acting as the final authority on release readiness
  • Define and drive quality strategy, identifying systemic gaps in process, tooling, and executionand closing them sustainably
  • Lead, mentor, and nurture SDETssetting clear expectations, guiding prioritization, and raising the overall quality bar
  • Establish and execute a strong automation vision, ensuring scalable, reliable coverage and supporting the team in automating complex workflows and integrations
  • Plan and strategize testing for releases, balancing speed, risk, and coverage while adapting to changing priorities
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Support, and Leadership to surface risks early and influence decisions with data
  • Advocate firmly for qualitytaking a stand to hold or delay releases when necessary, even under delivery pressure
  • Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and customer-first thinking across teams
  • Drive change with empathy and clarity, pushing improvements with minimal friction while staying firm on standards

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience testing complex web applications or B2B SaaS platforms
  • Proven experience leading SDETs or quality initiatives across teams
  • Extensive hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.) and scalable test design
  • Strong background driving team-wide automation goals and outcomes
  • Expertise in API testing, performance/load testing, and backend validation
  • Deep understanding of system architecture, databases, integrations, and distributed systems
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native environments
  • Ability to debug complex issues across services and environments
  • Excellent communication skillsclear, assertive, and effective with all stakeholders
  • Strong product sense and a customer-first quality mindset
